Paste the transcript from Teams, Zoom, Meet or Granola. You get a decision document: what you chose, what you rejected and why, the risks someone raised, and what is still open.
Notes tools tell you what was said. That is not the hard part.
Otter, Fireflies, Fathom and Granola all write good summaries and action items. None of them capture the thing you actually need in six months: the decision, and the options you deliberately ruled out.
So the doc gets written from memory a quarter later, if it gets written at all. The context is reconstructed and the alternatives are gone.
What you get back
We will use materialised views refreshed nightly at 02:00 rather than introducing Elasticsearch.
Elasticsearch — raised as the obvious fix for query latency. Lost because nobody on call knows how to run it, and stale-by-a-day results are acceptable for search.
A product added at 09:00 is not searchable until the next day. Support will get tickets. Accepted, not blocking, banner to be added.
